The father of Danielle Bregoli, better known as the “Cash Me Outside” girl, has spoken of his fears that his 14-year-old daughter is being exploited after finding fame.

The viral sensation has launched a music career after signing a major label deal this month with Atlantic Records, home to artists including Coldplay and Bruno Mars.

Her estranged father Ira Peskowitz, a Florida sheriff’s deputy, said he was concerned the teenager was being sexualised and exposed to violence by people who are "making money" out of her.

He cited her friendships with Atlantic Records rappers Kodak Black, currently under house arrest and facing a sexual assault charge, and NBA YoungBoy, who was convicted last month of a role in a drive-by shooting.

"I'm always in it for Danielle to do the right thing," Mr Peskowitz told Unilad. "Atlantic Records I’m not very impressed [with] because of the other people who they have in regards to the people she hangs out with.

"There are certain rappers who are continuously in trouble with the law and are doing serious crimes to others. Drugs, guns, violence, and Danielle hangs out with these people.

"The biggest fear obviously is, besides her psychological and emotional well-being from being around these people and being exposed to their drugs, their cursing, their sex."

Danielle, who has recorded three rap tracks under the name Bhad Bhabie, first became notorious after her appearance on The Dr Phil Show, where she was described as a “car-stealing, knife-wielding, twerking” teen who attempted to frame her mother for a crime that she committed.

But her online fame came when she told the audience, in a clip that went viral, that they could, “Cash me outside, how bow dah?”

She has since racked up more than 1.5 million likes on Facebook and 8.5 million followers on Instagram, as well as her own reality TV series.

But her father has previously said: "She's not famous. She's a child that is being exploited."

Mr Peskowitz is fighting for custody of his daughter having gave up a decision-making role in her life when she was a toddler and choosing to pay monthly child support payments of $1,100 (£820.)
